Why Coolidge Solar Center?
Arizona is one of the nation’s leaders in solar-powered electricity, generating enough energy to power 570,000 homes and create 7,500 jobs at 450 companies across the state. In Pinal County, the Coolidge Solar Center project will generate approximately $20 million in property tax revenue over its lifetime, benefiting the Coolidge Unified School District and the City of Coolidge. Construction will create approximately 300 temporary jobs.
The Coolidge Solar Center project will secure affordable energy and clean air for Pinal County. It will ensure that landowners can optimize the economic potential of their land holdings by generating income for their families and creating revenue for the community for generations to come.
